History

The San Joaquin Valley Concert Band Invitational began in the spring of 2009 and was founded by Clovis North Educational Center Director of Bands David Lesser. In 2011 the SJVCBI was selected as three of the original Music for All Regional Concert Band Festivals with the Chicagoland Festival and the Roxbury High School Concert Band Festival.
