Good Afternoon. Here we go! Please join us during the remaining month of March to celebrate Music in our Schools by attending some of our events.
Congratulations to our Varsity Winter Guard!! They are currently ranked 15 out of 150 Scholastic A guards competing in Dayton Ohio at the WGI World Championships. https://www.wgi.org/color-guard/group-standings/scholastic-a-group-standings/
We had a great evening last night at our annual Winter Pageantry Night. Five outstanding performances with lots of support from our friends and family in the stands!!!
We are starting our CUSD Band Festival today with our GR Bands performing in the concert hall. Please join us tomorrow for our high school band festival. It is open to the public. The CN Concert Band performs at 11:45 am and the wind ensemble performs at 2:30 pm. If you have more time, the day begins at 10 am and ends around 4:30 pm where you can hear ALL of our high school bands in the Clovis Unified School District.
Friday the Wind Ensemble and Varsity Color Guard are off for a weekend in Long Beach. The color guard will perform at the WGI Manhattan Beach Regional which you can watch live from flomarching.com. The Wind Ensemble will perform on Saturday at the Bob Cole Conservatory Concert Band Festival at CSU Long Beach, with a stop on Friday at Santa Monica High School.
If you haven’t yet… please join us next weekend for our annual all-you-can-eat Crab Feed Fundraiser. It is a great night and a fantastic opportunity to raise money for our students. It is not too late to get a table and invite your friends and colleagues to join us.

Crab Feed
We are currently 75% sold of the 204 total tickets for the event! Please keep sharing with friends, family, people who like crab, colleagues etc. Let’s work to make this year’s fundraiser the biggest one ever!

Water Jug & Bottle Cleaning
We are looking for a parent volunteer to collect, clean, and return about a dozen water bottles and 5 big water jugs to be used during our 2025 band camp. Please contact Mr. Rogers if you are able to help: JimRogers@cusd.com
Signature Chocolate
For those students participating in the current CN Band General Fundraiser, you should be about done selling the box of 60 Signature Chocolate bars for $1. Money is to be turned in to Mr. Rogers no later than FRIDAY, MARCH 7, 2025. Thank you for participating!
For those of you having trouble selling, you can turn-in what you have sold to Mr. Rogers, as soon as possible, as there are many students asking to check out more boxes to sell.

Hello Band Family!
The countdown to our biggest, most fun fundraiser of the year is on! The Crab Feed is on Saturday, March 15th! We hope you'll join us for a night of delicious food, wonderful silent auction items, and plenty of fun and games! Trust me, you don't want to miss it! If you have not already bought your tickets, do so as soon as possible. Tickets are going fast! Click here to purchase your tickets!
Because this is our biggest fundraiser of the year, it takes a village to make it a success.

Let us borrow a standing outdoor heater for the venue*
Let us borrow a pop-up/easy up or two to shield our outdoor kitchen from the elements*
Be an assistant bartender - it's easy and fun! No training needed!*
Sell drink tickets and beads for our "Heads or Tails" game*
Clean up the event space*

You DO NOT have to purchase a ticket to the Crab Feed to help. Tickets are only necessary if you plan on eating at the event. Even if you sign up for a slot to help during the event, you'll still have PLENTY of time to enjoy yourself. Volunteering at events is a great way to meet other members of our Band Family! I look forward to seeing all of our volunteer slots fill up this week!
