From the Director’s Desk
Congratulations on the completion of our adjudicated festival season!!! All of our ensembles sounded great! That is thanks to the hard work of our students and their desire to work together as a team to perform at a high musical level. It has been rewarding to hear the growth over the last few months. We should all be proud of the work that has been done.
Please join us tomorrow night at 7pm for a shared concert with the CN Wind Ensemble and the San Jose State University Wind Ensemble.

Wind ensemble students should be on stage at 6:15pm to warm up. Concert band students should arrive in the band room by 6:45pm where Mr. Vargas will take attendance and will follow everyone to the concert hall to enjoy the concert. General admission will be $5.00.
Winter Pageantry
This is our last week of the season. Please join us this Friday for the SJVCGPR Championships at Clovis North. A schedule can be found at www.wgasc.org or www.sjvcgpr.org.
Congrats to our 5 ensembles for working hard and having a successful season this year.
Chocolate Bar Fundraiser

We still have chocolate to sell. Let’s sell sell sell. Our candy sale is in full swing! Students may turn in funds to Mr. Rogers to receive additional boxes during lunchtime. Please remember that once a box is issued, the student is responsible for the $100.00 total. Neither Clovis North nor the Band Program is responsible for lost or stolen items. Let’s work together to complete these sales quickly!
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Nothing Bundt Cakes Fundraiser has begun. We will speak to each class this week, discussing the ins and outs of the fundraisers for our students.
Transportation Team

Class A Drivers Needed We are looking to expand our equipment transport team. Dennis has been our dedicated driver since 2011, and while he isn't fully retiring yet, we are looking for substitute drivers to begin a transition period.
If you or someone you know holds a Class A License and is interested in supporting the band, please contact Mr. Gabrielson or Mr. Lesser. If you have ever been interested in earning your Class A license, we would also love to discuss how we can help you through that process. This role is vital—without drivers, our program cannot travel.
After Spring Break

We look forward to a myriad of concerts, chamber music, jazz band, percussion ensemble, spring concerts from our concert bands.
We will also be getting ready to plan for next year, with leadership team applications going out, color guard auditions etc.
GR Jazz

Granite Ridge Jazz is wrapping up their festival season this Thursday March 26th at the City Jazz Festival.
They perform in the Music Building Theatre at Fresno City College at 9:15 AM. Parents Welcome to attend. Fee applies.
Students will need to be dropped off at CNEC by 8:00 AM.
We will return to CNEC at 1:30 PM and students will finish their 7th period class.

Thank you all for the support of our programs.
Have a great week!
David Lesser, Director of Bands
