💃 Color Guard Parent Meeting

Monday, May 11 | 5:30 PM | Band Room

We will host a meeting for color guard parents and students to discuss summer activities and begin planning for the 2026–27 school year.

This meeting also marks the start of preparations for our return to the WGI World Championships. All families are encouraged to attend.

📚 Google Classroom – 2026–27 Marching Band

All wind and brass students should enroll in the 2026–27 Marching Band Google Classroom.

Class Code: gjrjs32s

Current materials include:

  • CN Concert Band / FMCMEA / All‑State audition materials (to be practiced over the summer)

  • Fight Song (memorized by Day 1 of band camp; performed at CUSD General Session – Tuesday, August 11)

  • Magnificent 7 (same memorization and performance requirements)

  • Pep tunes for football games

  • Parade music for the Clovis Christmas Parade

Additional warm‑ups, exercises, field show music, and drill will be added throughout the summer and early fall so students always have access to materials.

🚚 Transportation Team – Class A Drivers Needed

We are looking to expand our Equipment Transportation Team. Dennis has faithfully served as our driver since 2011, and while he is not fully retiring yet, we are planning ahead by building a team of substitute drivers.

If you or someone you know:

  • Holds a Class A Driver’s License, or

  • Is interested in earning a Class A license,

Please contact Mr. Gabrielson or Mr. Lesser. We would be happy to discuss how we can support you through the process.

🔑 This role is vital—without drivers, our program cannot travel.

Thank you all for your continued support of our music programs.

Have a great week!
