Week 2 Update & Announcements

The first week of school went very well.  Everyone should have instruments and lockers now.  We are in the swing of it and will begin learning drill to part 1 this evening.  We hope to be performing it this Thurs. Night at our first home football game.

Bronco Star of the Week

Roshan Sreejith
Roshan Sreejith

Congratulations to Roshan Sreejith for being our first Bronco Star of the Week this year.  Roshan switched from clarinet to percussion last spring and has been rocking it as one of our two tenor drummers.

Roshan has been practicing diligently, shows up early every day to practice, and has done it all with a great work ethic and a positive attitude.

You wouldn’t know Roshan is a beginner on this instrument.  Congrats Roshan!!! Keep up the great work!

Winter Guard

Rosters for Varsity and JV Winter Guard will be announced shortly. Following announcements, a parent/student meeting for Varsity families will be held to plan for 2-3 WGI Regionals and the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. We are working diligently to keep travel costs as manageable as possible.

🎵 Music Tests & Pass-Offs

Our first music pass-off for woodwind and brass players was very successful.  It wasn’t perfect, but it was our strongest first attempt in many years.  This Friday will be our second pass-off.

  • Retake Policy: If a student does not pass, they will review material with their section leader and schedule a retake with Mr. Lesser or Mr. Vargas (before school, lunch, or after school).

  • Retake Frequency: Retakes are limited to once per day after adequate preparation.
