From the Director’s Desk

I hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving Holiday. We have lots to be thankful for. Congratulations to everyone on our Marching Band season. I loved the content of our show this fall as well as the journey we took together to bring it to life.

Parent Meeting

Tonight in the lecture hall @ 5:30pm. Please join us to discuss upcoming events and happenings with the Band and Color Guard.

Varsity Winter Guard Parent Meeting

Next Tuesday, Dec. 17 @ 5:30 pm please join us for a parent meeting in the dance room, regarding all of our winter season schedule, responsibilities, and travel discussions.

Holiday Catalog

Holiday catalog items to be picked up at school have arrived. Students should see Mr. Rogers for items. Names have been posted in the band room all week.

Winter Concert Information

Our winter concert is tomorrow evening @ 7pm. We have a few logistical items to be taken care of before our performance.

We will be taking individual photos for the band yearbook beginning at 4pm on Wed. in the concert hall lobby. Please be in your concert dress. Color guard should be in their hair/makeup and costume from the fall. Once your picture has been taken you are dismissed until your call time.

Concert band should arrive @ 6:30
Wind Ensemble needs to be ready to play in the band room @ 6:30pm w/alumni/friends/faculty members.

Spring Pledge Forms

Be on the lookout for some links to spring pledge forms. There will be the following:

CN Varsity Color Guard - 5 SJVCGPR Shows, 3 WGI regionals (bus/hotel/equipment truck costs), WGI Championships (flight/bus/hotel/rehearsal space/equipment shipping/World class finals tickets/prop fabrication), Costume, Floor, Registration Expenses
CN JV Color Guard - SJVCGPR Registration, Costume, Equipment for floor/paint
CN Winter Percussion - Floor, Costume, additional staff expense
CN Wind Ensemble - Overnight trip to Long Beach - bus, hotel
