Dear Friend,

Since the fall of 2007 when the Clovis North Educational Center opened its doors, the focus of the instrumental music program was to provide experiences for students that would be life changing.

Through their motto of Unity, Courage, and Commitment they have relentlessly worked to achieve excellence at the local, state and national level. It has been a process that has seen the band program begin with 17 musicians and is now 138 student members strong and still growing. The students and staff have given hours of time diligently honing their craft to be better each and every day.

On behalf of the Clovis North High School Instrumental music program, I am writing to invite you to donate to the auction for our upcoming Crab Feed fundraiser Saturday, March 15th at the The Barn at San Joaquin River Parkway at 11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno CA 93730. The Crab Feed is our signature fundraising event with attendance of over 200 guests. It provides us a great opportunity to involve the community in support of the Clovis North Instrumental music program’s mission, to provide life changing experiences for students using music and performing as the medium.

The money raised through the Crab Feed will go directly toward the band which helps to pay for instruments, sheet music, specialized staff, uniforms, and some transportation. The band also travels extensively throughout the year with other performing groups in the instrumental music program to maintain musical excellence and extra fees are required to pay for busses, hotels and meals during trips. Our booster fundraising goal this year is $100,000!

I hope you will consider donating auction items to the Crab Feed in support of our mission. Your support of this event will make a significant difference in the experience we can provide our students. On their behalf, please accept our deepest appreciation.
