FMCMEA Honor Ensemble Results

Congratulations to our CN & GR students for earning chairs in the Fresno Madera County Music Educators Association Honor Band and Orchestra!  This is a great accomplishment.  This year Clovis North and Granite Ridge has the most students from any campus participating in ALL middle schools and high schools from the two counties. 

We have 28 High School students participating in the honor band – the school with the next highest enrollment (CHS) has 14, (CEHS) 12, (CW) 10, (BHS) 9, other Fresno/Madera area schools combined (25).  We have 5 CN wind and percussion students earn chairs in the High School Symphony Orchestra, more than any other school. GR had a whopping 20 students win chairs for the Middle School honor band, more than any school as well.

We are very proud of our students as the audition preparation was all work done on their own time.

This is the equivalent to being a 1st team ALL TRAC athlete or making an all-star team.  This is a great accomplishment for our students.
