From the Director’s Desk
Good Day,
We have had a few exciting weeks. Congratulations to our concert bands who have just about wrapped up their festival performances. Both our Wind Ensemble and Concert Band have been improving during each performance. We have had a chance to perform in multiple concert halls where the acoustics in each space are extremely different. Our musicians have adapted quickly to each one and shown their musical maturity.
This Friday is our Wind Ensemble’s main event of the year. As I am writing this, I am getting excited that in just two days we will have some of our Nation’s greatest educators at Clovis North working with our students. Please join us this Friday for a great concert beginning at 8 pm that will feature our Clovis North Wind Ensemble being led by each of the adjudicators of our 15th Annual San Joaquin Valley Concert Band Invitational. Tickets for this concert will be $10.00. Here is a link to the festival program for the day. All the concerts during the day are open to the public. We really hope you will help us fill the concert hall to celebrate the work done throughout the school year by our students. www.clovisnorthband.org/sjvcbi-program

Our crab feed was a success!!! Thank you to, Ms. McClain and Ms. Toy along with their awesome team of parents and volunteers who put together a special and fun evening to raise money for our students and ensembles. Can’t wait to do it again in 2026!
The jazz bands keep moving along. This week is their final festival at the Fresno City Jazz Festival this Thursday. Can’t wait to hear their results.
Our Varsity Winter Guard has its final WGI Regional this weekend in Palm Desert before we get on a plane to attend the WGI World Championships for the first time. They are currently ranked 13 out of 150 A Class Guards attending the event. We hope for a strong showing to move up in the rankings for our prelims performance slot.
Our JV Winter Guard has been doing a great job in the SRA class in SJVCGPR, having an undefeated season so far. Our Winter percussion ensembles continue to improve each week as we head in to the SJVCGPR Championships next weekend.
Thank you all for your continued support of our programs. Please continue to follow through on you spring pledge contributions. We need to make sure we get everything submitted so we can stay ahead of the game financially for our programs. This will enable us to continue to provide great experiences and resources for our students and programs.

Signature Chocolate

It is time to turn in the $60. For those students participating in the current CN Band General Fundraiser, you should be about done selling the box of 60 Signature Chocolate bars for $1. Money is to be turned in to Mr. Rogers ASAP. Thank you for participating!
For those of you having trouble selling, you can turn-in what you have sold to Mr. Rogers, as soon as possible, as there are many students asking to check out more boxes to sell.
